Chennai will host the fifth round of Asian road racing championship instead of New Delhi.
‘Slight change’
The organisers in a statement said, “there has been a slight change to the 2017 calendar, specifically pertaining to the Indian leg of the series (Round 5).
“The FIM Asia road racing championship would like to announce that Round 5 will be held at the Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai from September 22 to 24.
“Originally slated to be held at the Buddh Circuit in New Delhi, the venue is not available due to circumstances outside of the championship’s control.”
Chennai last hosted the championship in 2013 and currently four Indian riders are part of the championship in various categories.
