Shah Rukh Syed, son of M.S. Shabbir, a police constable from Maharashtra, was hacked to death at Hanabaragi in Chikkodi taluk on Tuesday night.
The Chikkodi police, who have registered a case, said some miscreants waylaid his bike and attacked him with weapons. He died before he was taken to the hospital, they added.
