When contacted for additional details of the project, deputy managing director, Satyendra Gupta said "The size of the deal is around Rs 46 crore. This is for development of smart city in for 16 kms of area which would be where we would be deploying optical fibre network, mobile hotspots, smart lighting systems, surveillance system, smart parking, environmental sensors etc."

The project cost is divided into two parts -- capex, and operation and management. While the capex part will be decided by December 2018, the operation and management part will be stretched over a period of five years.
