Thursday will be a big day for the April-June results season as Tata Consultancy Services will declare its financial numbers. Cyient, Goa Carbon and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure will also declare their Q1 results on Thursday.

Though the June quarter used to be strong for TCS, analysts expect it to report a drop of about 7 per cent in profit (sequentially) due to slowdown in the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) segment and weak retail business.
