Chennai, July 12:  

The 16th edition of Madras Management Association (MMA) Award for Managerial Excellence will be held here on Friday.

The award is for companies and institutions based in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Puducherry, according to a press release.

The MMA Awards for Managerial Excellence is supported by the Murugappa Group. The Hindu BusinessLine is the media partner for the event.

TV Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, and Arvind Balaji, Joint Managing Director, Lucas-TVS Ltd, will attend the function. Winners include Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Madras Engineering Industries and Clarion Cosmetics Ltd.

The winners were selected by an independent panel of jury with a proven excellence in their chosen fields. The process of adjudication was facilitated by Deloitte, the consultants for the award.
