JAC Result 2017: Anshu Toppo becomes state topper; 71.95 per cent students clear Intermediate Arts Result 2017

NEW DELHI: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced Class 12 Intermediate Arts Result 2017 today. Anshu Toppo of St Anne's Intermediate College has emerged as the state topper with 423 marks out of 500. Vaishnavi Kumari of Ursuline Intermediate College has secured 2nd rank while Megha Kumari of KN High School has got third rank. With this, the top three slots have been secured by girl students.

71.95 per cent of the total 1,86,000 students have successfully cleared the exam. Out of this, 9,841 have qualified with first class, 88,921 with second class and 34,725 with third class. The JAC Result 2017 can be checked on the site jac.nic.in.

The exam was held between February 18 and March 7. The results for Commerce and Arts stream have already been announced on May 30.
