Shares of SpiceJet hit over 2-decade high on Boeing deal. The stock rose as much as 2.9 per cent to Rs 128.20, its highest since January 16, 1995.
The company said it is committed to buy 737 MAX 10 planes worth $4.7 billion (Rs 30,317 crore) from Boeing Co.
Deal for 40 aircraft includes order for 20 new 737 MAX 10 planes and conversion of 20 of SpiceJet's 737 MAX 8 aircraft from existing order.
Up to Monday's close, the stock more than doubled in value this year.
