At least nine people were killed in the Somali capital Mogadishu today in a car bomb attack claimed by Al-Qaeda linked Shabaab militants, a security source said.
"The explosion killed many people... Around nine have been confirmed, with more than twice that number wounded," local security official Abdi Jilibey told AFP, saying some of the bodies were so badly burnt as to be unrecognisable.
