The East Godavari District Olympic Association is going to conduct ‘Olympic Run’ simultaneously from 24 centres on June 23.
Collector Kartikeya Misra and SP M. Ravi Prakash will flag-off the run from the District Sports Authority stadium here.
Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, president and in-charge secretary of the association, Chundru Govindaraju and V. Ravi Raju respectively, and convener of the run P. Chiranjeevini Kumari said the district Olympic Association would present participation certificates to all the participants. Students, sports persons, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and senior citizens are expected to take active part in the event.
