Attendance of workers in coal mines in the Singareni Collieries in Mancherial district improved further on Sunday.
At Srirampur Area about 82% attendance was recorded on an average in the first and second shifts, according to Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) General Manager Sd. M. Subhani.
The attendance as well as coal production improved apparently as the management decided to extend double muster facility to even those miners who had struck work on June 16 and 17.
The General Manager appealed to the remaining few workers to end strike and join duty.
