The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) will organise the second edition of The Guardian Angel - an instant funding event here on June 24. Inspired by popular TV Series Shark Tank, the event received entries from about 125 applications.

“The Guardian Angel is part of our efforts to strengthen the ecosystem. In the first edition, three start-ups raised funds to the tune of ₹1.75 crore,” Pradeep Mittal, President, TiE (Hyderabad), has said.

“We will continue to hand hold and nurture start-ups through various initiatives. The Guardian Angel facilitates funding to the tune of ₹5 lakh -₹2 crore. The event helps in bridging the gap between the investors and start-ups,” he said here in a statement on Monday.
