The district unit of ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi party is planning a felicitation of the leaders who secured nominated posts.
District president T. Ravinder Rao said the programme, planned to be conducted on on June 19, at Vishnupriya gardens on Hunter road here, would be like a family get together and appealed to party cadre to turn up in large numbers.
He said it was time for the party leaders to be together to rebut the unreasonable criticism by the Opposition parties. The party workers should go door-to-door and campaign in big way about welfare and development works launched by the state government.
“The Congress leaders are very impatient for power and mudslinging the government. They lost the public patronage and cannot come to power in immediate future. The TDP too which lost its base in the state is trying to defame the government. The TDP leaders are acting at the behest of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu but people of Telangana do not believe them,” Mr. Ravinder Rao said.
