Bicycles were distributed to girls, studying in Telugu Medium at the A.U. High School, by Andhra University Registrar V. Umamaheswara Rao on Friday. The bicycles were given by the State government with the objective of promoting the education of girl child. School headmistress K. Salomee and teachers were present.
