The official site of University received massive hits as the results of the exams held in April 2017 have been announced. The exams were conducted for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
However, the website seems to be unresponsive. Results were supposed to be available on the University’s official site www.periyaruniversity.ac.in on June 15, 2017, at 10 AM. Vice-chancellor of University, Tamil Nadu, C. Swaminathan had made an official announcement of the results of and programmes simultaneously at 10 am. The official press release by the University informed that all arrangements were duly made for the flawless facilitation of the declaration of results.
Due to heavy traffic and other technical issues, students may face lags on the site and find it unresponsive. This has happened because the University authorities attempted to display the results on their site only without partnering with other results announcement websites. It indicates that the official site is the only place to find out one’s results. The students must keep trying after brief intervals.
