NEW DELHI: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has won accolades for unique character roles played by him in Bollywood movies in last few years, spreading across different genres, today said he was content at the progress of his career in films.
Speaking at the sidelines of a function, the National Award winning actor said with his success in the film industry, he has proved his critics wrong .
“When I came to this industry I was told by many that I am not a movie material, as I was short, dark… But now I have proved them wrong and the rest is history,” said Nawazuddin, who will be next seen in the Sridevi starrer ‘Mom’.
The actor said he has many films lined up for release this year for his fans.
”This year, people can look forward to ‘Mom’, ‘Manto’, ‘Munna Michael’ and ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz,” the actor said. (AGENCIES)
