Encroachment cleared

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on Wednesday recovered 16 acres of land in survey number 319 near the Varthur lake in the city.
The officials, with the help of the Bangalore Development Authority police and the local tahsildar, cleared unauthorised sheds.
They also demolished a road along side the lake and recovered the encroached property and fenced the
area, according to an official release.
