Delhi Metro's ITO-Kashmiri Gate heritage line will start from May 28, according to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. According to reports, it has been given a green signal by the railway Security Commissioner. The metro is an expansion of violet line ITI-Escorts Mujesar.
The metro line will have four stopping points or four metro stations- Kashmiri Gate, Delhi Gate, Jama Masjid and Lal Kila.
According to Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind kejriwal will inaurate this metro. the metro will stsrt working from 12 pm in the afternoon.
The three metro stations of this metro line are underground.
The metro was to start one year before. Metro officials have told that problems faced during its construction is the main reason for the delay in its operation.
