Aaron Mooy, Australia's latest English Premier League star, admits that he has no idea what his future holds for next season.

The midfielder played a key role in driving outsiders Huddersfield Town to promotion to England's top flight, delivering a man-of-the-match performance in the play-off final win on penalties over Reading.

Ronaldo: My numbers don't lie

Real Madrid's star forward Cristiano Ronaldo has said he has kept the critics quiet after helping the Spanish champions complete a memorable season with a second successive UEFA Champions League title.

But the 26-year-old former Melbourne City player spent the season in Yorkshire on loan from his parent club Manchester City, and is not sure yet where he will end up next campaign.

City could decide to recall him to Manchester to be part of Pep Guardiola's first-team squad, loan him back to Huddersfield, sell him to the Terriers or sell him to another club.

"I am not sure yet," said Mooy, who arrived in Adelaide for the Socceroos World Cup qualifier a few days earlier.

" My agent and Manchester City are working all that stuff out. I am just trying to focus on the next game with Australia.

"Every player wants to play and I am no different to anyone else. Not everything is in my control. It doesn't really matter what I want to do, it's not just my decision - whatever happens, I will just get on with it and try my best like always."
