French Open Live, Day 8: Highlights and as it happened

Rafael Nadal went through to the quarter final of the French Open by beating Roberto Bautista Agut 6-1, 6-2, 6-2. Nadal is yet to lose a set in the tournament and is chasing a record extending 10th title.

After a washed out Saturday evening, Rolland Garros had to play catch-up as the previous day’s quota of matches were finished on Day 8. Rafael Nadal continued his rampaging run in the tournament as he trounced compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut 6-1, 6-2, 6-2. The Spaniard is yet to lose a set in the entire tournament and is in ominous form as he chases his 10th title at the French Open. Defending champion Garbine Muguruza was knocked out by Kristina Mladenovic while Gael Monfils and Stan Wawrinka will face each other in the quarter-final. Kei Nishikori also overcame Korean Hyeon Chung in the first all-Asian meeting in the tournament.
