At least 35 people were injured today when a passenger bus veered off the road and plunged down about 30 metres from a highway in central Nepal.
The bus fell off the road at Tinpiple in Kavrepalanhowk district, about 75 km east of Kathmandu.
The injured passengers were receiving treatment at a hospital here, police said.
Two of the injured are in a critical condition. The reason behind the accident is not known yet, they said.
Police are searching for the bus driver who fled the scene after the incident.
