Pakistani openers Azhar Ali (12) and Ahmed Shehzad (7) were at the crease when the umpires called for the covers.

Earlier, in an innings affected by rain twice -- consequently shortened to 48 overs against the normal 50, posted 319 in their 48 overs posting a target of 320 runs for the men in green.

Match officials later revised the score in view of the rain-interruptions and thus will have to score 324 in 48 overs for a win.
