UP man invents new variety of mango; to name it after CM Yogi Adityanath

Haji Kalimullah, a renowned horticulturist, is popular for doing experiments with what he grows. He has named the varieties of mangoes he grew, after leading personalities. He once named the king fruit after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And now he is in talks for growing new quality of mango and says that he will name it after UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

Haji Kalimullah, a renowned horticulturist, is popular for doing experiments with what he grows. He has named the varieties of mangoes he grew, after leading personalities. He once named the king fruit after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And now he is in talks for growing new quality of mango and says that he will name it after UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

Kalimullah Khan has been a recipient of Padma Shri award. He has been growing mangoes since 1957.

Kalimullah says that he names a mango after celebrities to make legends “immortal”.
