Police said three separate assaults took place between 10 and 11.30pm at the Waterloo Bay Hotel in Wynnum and a 19-year-old man was assisting with inquiries.

The attacks occurred on Berrima Street and the Queensland Ambulance Service said two men, 23 and 68, were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with head injuries. It is understood the older man was punched in the jaw.

A man and woman were also treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.
