The Mico Layout police on Saturday said Habeeb Ghani, who was arrested on the charge of molesting a job aspirant, is a son of former minister of Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Ghani.
Habeeb, a resident of Puttenahalli, JP Nagar, had molested a native of Udupi, who had come to a leading bank in Mico Layout for an interview. Ghani had come to the city for higher education, but had dropped out. He used to collect the phone numbers of women from job portals, contact them posing as a private firm head, police said.
They said it had come to light that Ghani had misbehaved with more than 350 women. The police have continued questioning the suspect.
