In a tragic incident, a 50-year-old man was gored to death by his buffalo near Kalamassery on Thursday.
The victim, Ibrahim Koodoth, was attacked by the animal around 11 a.m. while it was being taken for grazing. His attempts to save himself went in vain. The animal was later tethered by local people.
Ibrahim was rushed to a hospital nearby but was declared brought dead. The Kalamassery police conducted an inquest and the body was handed over to the victim’s relatives.
