Co-working space provider Creator’s Gurukul said it is in talks to raise $10 million to speed up its expansion.

With a capacity of 500-plus seating, Creator’s Gurukul said it expects an occupancy rate of 60 per cent during the year.

“Collaborative offices and crowd working is the future, as proven by the explosive growth of pay-as-you-go concept. We are already in talks with several institutional investors for fund-raising, and expect to close it in 3-4 months,” Mohammed Sirajuddin, Co-Founder, Creator’s Gurukul, told BusinessLine.

He said the company will provide early-stage entrepreneurs with not just space but also the structure, training, mentorship and network needed to run a company.

Sirajuddin said Creator’s Gurukul has tied up with international names such as f6s, Startup Grind, Desired Wings, and Catapooolt to offer more value to companies operating out of its office space. It is also looking at creating a scholarship programme for start-ups.
