Edible oils market ruled steady on Friday tracking weak futures amid slack demand.
During the day about 300 tonnes of palmolein and 40-50 tonnes of soyabean / cotton refined were bought by stockiest. On Thursday volume of about 3,800 tonnes of imported palmolein, super and soya oil witnessed in the market. Morale was cautious said sources.
Liberty’s rates for Palmolein Ex STC / Shapur were ₹563 / ₹564 for June. Super palmolein at ₹584 for June and Soyabean refined oil ex Shapur ₹635 for June.
Allana’s ratesfor Palmolein were ex Khapoli / IVP ₹560 / ₹563 for 15-30 June. Soya refined oil ₹630 for 30June. Sunflower refined oil ₹665 for 30June.
Golden Agri’s rate for palmolein was ₹557 for 9 June and ₹555 for 5- 15 June. Emami quoted palmolein ₹555 for 5-20 June.
In Rajkot, groundnut oil was ₹1,450 (1,440) for Telia tin and ₹910 (910) for Loose (10 kg).
On National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange Soyabean refined oil June -17 futures was ₹617.30 (620.55) and July-17 was ₹618.30 (622.00).
Malaysian crude palm oil June-17 futures settled lower at MYR 2,730 (MYR 2,759) and July-17 at MYR2,609 (MYR 2,633).
On The Bombay Commodity Exchange spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 960 (960), soya refined oil 625 (625), sunflower exp. ref. 585 (585), sunflower ref. 655 (655), rapeseed ref. oil 710 (710), rapeseed expeller ref. 680 (680), cottonseed ref. oil 635 (635) and Palmolein 552 (552).
