District Magistrate Ministhy S has ordered to suspend one auxiliary nurse midwife and awarded adverse entry to the in-charge of primary health centre (PHC) of Bandipur village of Murad Nagar town.

The action was taken after a surprise visit to the PHC by Modi Nagar sub divisional magistrate Kumar.



DM Ministhy said the SDM, who was instructed to inspect the PHC, found that all the PHC employees were absent and the patient's waiting room was overstuffed with wheat husk and fuel cakes.

Taking cognizance of the SDM's report, she immediately ordered the CMO, Dr Agarwal, to take action against the negligent employees.

She further said such surprise checks will continue in the district to improve the medical services.

"All the delinquent employees will be put to task in future also," the DM added.
