For the next three-four days, Andhra Pradesh will witness extreme weather conditions. Some parts of the state will face severe heat while others rain or thundershowers, told the State Disaster Management Authority.
The SDMA quoting a forecast issued by ISRO said the maximum temperatures could rise by 3-4 degrees till May 18 in east Rayalaseema, central and south coastal AP due to westerly\northwesterly winds.
Heat wave and very hot weather conditions would prevail in Kurnool, Kadapa, Chittoor, Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and SPS Nellore districts.

The SDMA quoted a bulletin from the India Meteorological Department and told that Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts were likely to experience light to moderate rain\thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds.
Rain or thundershowers were also expected in isolated places in Rayalaseema, the SDMA added.
The SDMA advised people to take necessary precautionary measures in view of the severe weather conditions.
