Pilani, Churu and Kota recorded 5.4 mm, 3.2 mm and 0.8 mm respectively with traces of rain in Sriganganagar district till 5.30 pm.

Though most of the western remained dry, a few places in Hanumangarh and Churu district received rainfall in last 24 hours.

Meanwhile amid downpour recorded in the state, temperature dipped down by a few notches.

Jaisalmer was hottest at 43. 9 degree Celsius followed by 43 in Barmer, 42 in Jodhpur, 41.4 each in Kota and Bikaner, 39 in Dabok, 37.2 in Ajmer, 36.9 in Jaipur, 35.5 in Ganganagar, 33.2 in Churu and 29.5 in Pilani.
