"The latest exposure of Rs 300-crore scam, which includes corruption in purchase of medicines, in the Health Department has shamed and shocked the citizens of Delhi," spokesperson Rajiv Babbar told reporters.

Babbar urged the Lt. Governor to order a probe into the alleged scam.

"I request the Lt. Governor of to order a thorough inquiry into this medicine and ambulance purchase scam," the leader said.

The BJP's protest came in the wake of allegations made by sacked Water Minister Kapil Mishra on May 27.

Mishra had accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain of misappropriating health funds and claimed that there were three health scams, including one involving Rs 300 crore.

The protest was also joined by Leader of Opposition in Assembly Vijendra Gupta.
