Almost 13 years since she left Australian for a trip to Bali, convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby touched down on Australian soil on Sunday morning.
The 39-year-old, accompanied by her sister Mercedes, arrived on a Malindo Air flight that landed at 5.09am, about 20 minutes earlier than its scheduled arrival.

Passengers sitting behind Schapelle Corby relive the tight security and secrecy surrounding transporting the plane's "special guest".
It took her less than 30 minutes to disembark and clear security before she left the airport with a large security convoy in tow, managing to avoid the media contingent that had gathered.

Two convoys, followed by the media, took separate routes from the airport.
One ended at the Sofitel Hotel in the city, while the other was stopped at the KFC store at Ormeau, en route to the Gold Coast. Corby was not seen in either.

There are rumours she is staying at the Sofitel.
Meanwhile her sister, Mercedes has arrived at their mother's Loganlea house, but there was still no sign of 39-year-old Schapelle.

Mercedes did not speak to the media when she arrived with a security guard at Rosleigh Rose's home just before 7.30am.
Plenty of precautions were taken on the flight itself to protect Corby, with the departure gate at Denpasar changed twice without notification. Upon landing, all passengers were forced to remain in their seats with an announcement saying "the special guest has to get off first".
In a statement from Schapelle which was read by a member of her security team soon after she landed, she thanked her supporters in Australia and Bali and asked for privacy.
