1) The Bharatiya Janata Party is to organise a pan-Indian festival like publicity campaign to highlight the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance's three years in power. The campaign name has been linked with the surname of the prime minister- 'Making of Developed India (MODI). Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the festival from Guwahait in Assam on May 26. A central Control Room will be established at the party headquarters in Delhi to coordinate and monitor the mega event that will continue till June 15.

2) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to open India’s longest river bridge, the 9.5 km Sadiya-Dhola link across the Lohit, the main stream of the mighty Brahmaputra, in Assam. The bridge, located in the remote northern district, Sadiya, will ease connectivity between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. It is a military-grade river expressway, capable of carrying heavy infantry and will provide swift defence access to the sensitive state.

3) The National Stock Exchange is to introduce futures and options (F&O) contracts in five securities. These stocks will be available for trading from May 26. Hindustan Construction Company, Kajaria Ceramics, National Aluminium, RBL Bank and The Ramco Cements were added in the list.

4) Gionee is to launch the successor to its S9 smartphone on May 26. In its teaser, shared on Weibo, the Chinese company has confirmed the name of the smartphone as Gionee S10 and also explicitly mentioned that it will come with four cameras, tipping that it will come with dual camera setup at the rear as well as front.

5) India Content Startup Conclave 2017, an annual conference for start-ups and global investors, will be held on May 26 at Hotel Double Tree by Hilton, Gurgaon. The annual event is organised by Zdream Ventures. ZDream Ventures is a Y Combinator like fund plus accelerator based in Gurugram. According to Jason Wang, Founder and CEO, Zdream Ventures, the event has got good response and many of the participants are content start-ups.
