A notorious robber carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head has been arrested in south Delhi, a police officer said on Friday.
A stolen Royal Enfield motorcycle and a countrymade firearm were seized from Vicky Panwar's possession, police said.
Vicky Panwar, 26, was arrested on Thursday night from the Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Trauma Centre in Safdarjung Enclave area on a tip-off. He is a resident of Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh.
"He was evading arrest since October 2016. He was involved in an armed robbery at an ice-cream parlour in Preet Vihar area in east Delhi," Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh told IANS.
During the robbery, they had shot at and injured a customer at the ice-cream parlour.
His accomplices Ravi and Badal, who were involved in the robbery, were arrested last year.
