According to the company, the Board of Directors of Company (IHCL) has accepted the resignation of Sarna, who will continue in his current position till September 30, 2017.

"Mr Sarna has chosen to resign upon completion of his 3-year tenure as the Managing Director and CEO of the Company. The Board respects his decision and has requested him to continue till September 30, 2017, which he has kindly agreed to," said N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of IHCL.
