Tamil Nadu government on Thursday announced its decision to set up a law college in the districts of Villupuram, Dharmapuri and Ramanathapuram.

Chief Minister K Palaniswami said the decision was taken to enable the students in and around these districts to take up law education.

Accordingly, 80 students will be admitted for the three-year and five-year law courses from the academic year 2017-18 through the Dr Ambedkar Law University, he said in a statement here.
