Net profit of Novartis India declined 87.25% to Rs 2.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 22.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 12.40% to Rs 145.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 166.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 71.14% to Rs 57.22 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 198.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 4.86% to Rs 656.22 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 689.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
