Brass sheet cutting rebounded at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.

Copper utensils and zinc also moved-up owing to better offtake from consumer industries.



While, nickel dropped on subdued demand from alloy industries, select copper also eased.

Brass sheet cutting surged by Rs 18 per kg to Rs 318 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 300 and copper utensils scrap and zinc inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 363 and Rs 219, respectively.

However, nickel fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 685 from its overnight level of Rs 695.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper wire bar and copper sheet cutting all softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 398, Rs 394, Rs 387, Rs 426 and 383, respectively.
