Net profit of GAIL (India) declined 68.74% to Rs 260.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 832.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.75% to Rs 13421.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 11595.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 57.33% to Rs 3502.91 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2226.43 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.74% to Rs 48054.61 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 51528.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
