Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP L Ganesan today endorsed actor Rajinikanth's views that the political system in Tamil Nadu was not good.
Referring to the actor's remarks during an interaction with his fans, Ganesan, a BJP national council member, told reporters here, "his words uttered once were like being said a hundred times" (in reference to a popular dialogue from his blockbuster "Baasha".)
He said the other parties in Tamil Nadu were afraid of the BJP "as it was putting its best foot forward and had started running."
He said the BJP-led government had completed three years in power at the Centre without any irregularity and had implemented many welfare schemes for the people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was acting in such a manner that there were no irregularities in the government's functioning, the BJP leader said, adding that this ensured that others also don't indulge in any irregularities.
