A 58-year-old woman and her daughter-in-were today found dead with multiple wounds at their residence in Prem Nagar here, police said.

Bodies of Nathi Devi and her daughter-in-Santosh Devi (30) were found by their family members this morning, they said.



The family members then informed the police.

Prima facie the women have been stabbed multiple times with a sharp-edged weapon, police said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem while forensic experts have collected evidences from the spot.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons on the charge of and investigation in the matter is underway, Investigating officer Sub-Inspector Emichand Solanki said.
