Soundgarden and Audioslave lead singer Chris Cornell died after hanging himself

Rocker Chris Cornell, who gained fame as the lead singer of the bands Soundgarden and later Audioslave died by hanging himself , the medical examiner from Wayne County confirmed. He was 52.

Cornell, was found dead in his hotel's bathroom an hour after wrapping up his concert with the band in Detroit's Fox Theatre on May 17 night, reported The Telegraph.
