Mentha oil prices declined by Rs 5 per kg at the chemicals market in the national capital today due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.
However, other chemicals continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Marketmen said tepid demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks position mainly led to decline in mentha oil prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices were down by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,170, Rs 1,130 and Rs 1,050 per kg respectively.
