Four men today looted about Rs 15 lakh from a nationalized bank at Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, police said.
The exact amount looted was yet to be ascertained but it was estimated to be around Rs 15 lakh, sub-divisional police pfficer (Chakradharpur), Aman Kumar, said.
The four motorcycle-borne men arrived at the Chakradharpur branch of Allahabad Bank and looted the cash, he said.
A police team rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to track the culprits.
