Marketmen said negligible demand due to offseason coupled with fresh arrivals from manufacturing belts mainly pulled down gur prices.

In Delhi, gur chakku and pedi prices slipped by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 3,400-3,500 and Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal.

At Muzaffarnagar, gur Laddoo prices dropped from Rs 3,200-3,250 to settle at Rs 3,125-3,200 per quintal.

Gur Khurpa and Chakku also eased by Rs 50 each to end at Rs 2,900-2,950 and Rs 2,925-3,200 per quintal.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,150-3,250 and dhayya Rs 3,300- 3,350.
