Two centres of the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) will be set up in west and south Haryana, Union Minister Ananth Kumar has said.

According to a survey, 10 lakh plastic engineers and technicians are required in the country, whereas less than two lakh such experts are available, the Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister said here last night. These centres will help meet industry requirements for plastic engineers and technicians.
