A businessman was today killed and his wife injured when their motor-bike collided with a lorry at Chitrada village in the district, police said.
The mishap occurred in the limits of Pithapuram police station, said Pithapuram Circle Inspector B Apparao.
The deceased has been identified as Akula Madavrao (50), a resident of Kakinada, he said.
His body was sent for post mortem and a case has been registered, the officer said, adding a probe was on.
