Good night folks
A busy day of footy and an entertaining round as well. Melbourne and Essendon got some credits with their big Saturday night victories while Richmond and Collingwood will be especially hurting after their narrow defeats.
For all the reports, latest news and expert analysis from Rohan Connolly, Michael Gleeson and others, check it all out on realfooty.com.au.
Good night. See you all soon.
Play Of The Day
In case you haven't seen it yet, check out the remarkable finish to the Richmond-Fremantle match:

Sydney's hopes
The thought can't escape me: could a team that started with a 0-6 record find a way to play finals this season? Perhaps only the Sydney Swans.
That's a terrific sight

A hectic day of footy
The remarkable finish to the Richmond-Fremantle game was undoubtedly the highlight. Port Adelaide made light work of the Gold Coast Suns in a largely one-sided match in Shanghai. And, perhaps ominously, the Swans found their groove with a 42-point win over the Kangaroos. That makes consecutive wins for Sydney.
Back to topFINAL: Swans d. Roos by 42 points
Sydney 18.12 (120) d. North Melbourne 11.12 (78)
Q4: North 78 Sydney 120
GOAL. Another one to the Swans. Close to the death. Will Hayward snags it to push the margin out to 42 points. A very good day for the red & white
Q3: North 75 Sydney 112
GOAL. This time Buddy. Right on 14 minutes. The big forward has been quiet but the Swannies haven't really needed him. This goal came with a bit of class. Good footwork under pressure.
Q4: North 75 Sydney 106
GOAL. Jed Anderson with the latest goal for the Roos. Expect this match to peter out but the Kangas still have time to add some respectability to the scoreline.
Baffling stuff in terms of the nominated ruckman rule .....
There was some confusion over who was the nominated ruckman in this incident. #AFLNorthSwans pic.twitter.com/mRNEm7ucSC

Cunnington notches the first goal of the final quarter. It's a long way back from here, however ....
Underway in the final quarter
Sydney's big chance to improve their percentage ... they badly need to!
Josh Kennedy's output for the Swans has slowed. The skipper now has 31 touches after the Roos put a clamp on him that term. Nic Newman racing up the charts with 28 touches. Dan Hannebery has been much better today, too.
3QT: North 56 Sydney 99
Three quarter time. A late goal on 27 minutes to George Hewitt puts this match beyond doubt - a 43-point lead at the final break at the Docklands.
Sydney Swans 15.9 (99) lead North Melbourne 8.8 (56)
Back to topQ3: North 56 Sydney 93
GOAL. Swan Papley scores another one for the Swannies deep into time-on. That's basically the sealer. This match has lost a bit of its zing in the past few minutes.
Q3: North 54 Sydney 87
GOAL. Kayne Turner has dragged one back for the Kangas after 17 minutes. A crucial 10-minute period coming up before 3QT. It seems to be Sydney's day thus far.
Q3: North 47 Sydney 86
GOAL. A second one to the Swans to start the third quarter. Hannebery after six minutes. This game now looks shot for North. Swans edging closer to their second win for the season.
ICUMI earlier ....
How about this finish at the MCG today?

Q3: North 47 Sydney 79
GOAL. And it's a telling one. Sam Reid after less than one minute. Lead out to more than five goals. Plenty of footy to come, however.
