Communications agency J Walter Thompson Company (JWT) South Asia today said it has appointed Raji Ramasway as the CEO of Contract Advertising with effect from July 3, 2017.
She replaces Rana Barua as he moves out due to personal reasons, the agency said in a statement.
Commenting on the appointment JWT South Asia CEO Tarun Rai said: "I am very confident that she will do exceptionally well in her new role and help in meeting our client's business objectives and in taking contract to greater heights".
With over 25 years in marketing and brand management at J Walter Thomson, Raji is a seasoned communications professional and has worked with ITC, Tata Steel, Berger Paints and Exide, among others.
"I hope to leverage my vast experience in brand building across categories by creating meaningful communication that will deliver on brand objectives," Ramasway said.
Contract is a member of the JWT/WPP network and is an integrated and independent communications company that specialises in advertising, consulting, design and digital.
