Power solutions provider GE today said it has signed an agreement with Industries to upgrade aluminium rolling company's generation equipment at its Renusagar captive power plant in Uttar Pradesh.

GE will modernise two steam turbines at the captive power plant targeting turbine output increase of up to 4 MW each-improving the efficiency of the plant and extending the life of the units by around 20 years, the company said in a statement.
